Christmas is just around the corner, and that means its time for advent calendars! I was thinking of getting a beauty advent calendar this year as it’s something i’ve never done before, but when i seen that Yankee candle have done a calendar, i just had to get my hands on it. I love yankee candles, they are an obsession of mine – i couldn’t even tell you how many different fragrances i have.
The advent calendar comes in two different styles; Christmas Present which i have in the images above and also a 3D wintery house titled Christmas Past. I originally had my heart set on the house shape but they did not have this style when i went to buy the calendar at House of Fraser. Behind each door of the Yankee Candle advent calendar you will find 6 different scented tea lights and on the 24th December you will be treated to a Christmas Eve scent Votive (sampler) candle.
The Christmas Present advent calendar features Yankee Candle’s newer festive scents:
I’ve tried Snowflake Cookie last year which is a lovely sweet festive fragrance that reminds me of baking cookies. I’m looking forward to trying the new fragrances this december and i think this advent calendar is an excellent idea which allows you to try different scents you wouldn’t necessary purchase in a jar.
I’m not sure if this advent calendar will be available to purchase in department stores now because it is so close to december and it is not available on the yankee candle website anymore. The Yankee Candle Advent Calendar cost £21.99, which is quite a good price compared to other luxurious advent calendars on the market this year and is something unique.
Obviously i’m still going to be having a chocolate advent calendar alongside this beauty – just because I’m greedy! Also i must apologise for not posting for the past couple of weeks, i have been unwell and super busy, but i’m back on track now!
Thanks for reading and i hope you enjoyed my post, until next time…
