While i was in Boots a couple of weeks ago, i needed to pick up my regular Soap & Glory Archery eyebrow tint and pencil. I seen they had a 3 for 2 offer and couldn’t resist picking up a couple of new Soap & Glory products. All of my items came to £20.00 which i think is a great deal for a eyebrow product, eyeliner and mascara. A complete eye look that will give definition and depth that is perfect for everyday wear.
Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Super Volume Mascara in Superjet Black
I have never really thought about trying a Soap & Glory mascara before, but i thought why not pick one up within the 3 for 2 deal. It costs £10.00 to purchase, which i think is a higher price for drugstore mascaras. I’m still a little unsure if i love or hate this mascara, because i have applied it some days and it goes on like a dream with no clumping and curls and lengthens my lashes. But other times i have applied it and it goes clumpy and makes a complete mess around my eyes that needs me to clean up the area with cotton buds.
The brush is pretty big and i was surprised about how large it was when i popped it out of the container. I think it might take a while getting used to the brush as i am used to smaller ones like the Benefit Roller Lash.
I don’t think i would purchase this mascara again because there are so many lower priced drugstore mascaras that do a better job and i just love applying mascara that creates no mess and is fuss free!
Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen In Carbon Black
As I’ve said before in my beauty blogs, i use a Bourjois Liner Pinceau Eyeliner in a Dark Brown shade, but i wanted to try an eyeliner pen that was really easy to apply and go for a bolder look by using black. I have now found a new love for using black eyeliner and this one is super easy to apply – especially if you find it difficult to get the perfect ‘flick’. It’s like a felt tip pen applicator that does not dry out like others i have purchased a few years ago. It glides on with ease and allows you to create a subtle look, or you can build up the thickness a bit at a time.
The staying power is amazing and lasts me all day! I normally use a naked palette 3 nude or pink eyeshadow as my eye base with sometimes an eye primer, so maybe this helps too. Please try this Soap & Glory Supercat eyeliner pen if your looking for a defined and precise look that is really easy to achieve. The eyeliner costs £6.00 and only comes in the ‘Carbon Black’ shade.
Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint And Pencil
My most favourite drugstore eyebrow product has to be Soap & Glory Archery. I always recommend this product to everyone because it gives the best of both worlds – a brow tint and precision shaping pencil. It also contains aloe vera & chamomile flower extract to help condition and protect skin and has a long lasting film that ensures all day wear. It gives a natural look allowing you to choose how soft or bold you want to take your brows.
It is available in two shades, ‘Love is Blonde’ and ‘Brownie Points’. I use the Brownie Points shade as i have medium brown to blonde ombre hair and i also love my lashes to be a little darker to have a defined look. You would use ‘Love is Blonde’ if you had very fair or golden blonde hair and eye-brows.
I normally start by filling in my eyebrows with the pencil to add shape and define the arch. I then use the felt-tip tint to square off my eyebrows and fill in any areas to create a strong, defined eyebrow. I’ve used a lot of eyebrow products on the market and this is most definitely the best one i have ever used! It costs £10.00 from Boots and lasts me around 2 months.
I feel these products above allow you to create a lovely bold and dramatic eye look for everyday wear. I can now say the Supercat Eyeliner pen is now my new favourite eyeliner to create my winged eye look, but i will have to see how i get on with the mascara! Obviously my trusty Archery eyebrow tool will not be leaving my make-up bag anytime soon. Pop into your local Boots store to see the Soap & Glory make-up selection or take a look on the Soap & Glory website.
Thanks for reading and i hope i have inspired you to try out some of these products to make your eyes pop.
