From Visiting the Shack Shake burger bar last February, i thought it was time to have another. The Shack Shake is situated in Covent Garden’s Market Building – a very cool and relaxed setting. We planned to make a stop at the Shack Shake burger bar because i was craving it so much and i definitely was not disappointed.
Once ordered, we sat down and waited for our buzzer to say we could collect our food from the hatchet. Luckily it was not too busy and we got allocated a table with no wait at all.
My boyfriend, James bought over the tray of yumminess and i couldn’t wait to tuck in. I ordered the ‘Shake Stack’ burger that consists of a Cheeseburger and a ‘Shroom burger topped with lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce. So basically, it was a big, amazingly tasty burger.
It was the perfect combination. When biting into the burger, the ‘Shroom burger oozed out tasty melted cheese and the crunch of the crispy breadcrumbed portobello mushroom was divine.
James went for the crinkled cut fries as he isn’t a very big fan of burgers, but he really enjoyed them – i sneakily pinched a few too!
My ‘Shake Stack’ burger cost £8.50, but i think thats pretty reasonable considering how mouthwateringly good it was. Our whole meal came to the total of £14.70.
We decided to order a different drink to what we normally would – the fifty/fifty. It’s half lemonade and half iced tea. It was quite lemony, but refreshing while eating your burger and fries.
Overall the food was fabulous. I would like to visit the Shake Shack again in the near future and maybe try something else on the menu and one of their amazing frozen custards.
Also just a note, the photographs was taken using my iPhone 5s and i think they have turned out quite well and show the delicious details of the food. Sometimes i enjoy photographing on my phone as its easy and convenient, especially when eating out.
Thanks for reading and until next time…
