I’ve been seeing a lot of lovely blazers around on the high street, from bold floral prints or just plain block colours. I wanted to do this blog post to share how i have styled by new white tailored blazer in a more daytime and causal look that is suitable for this summer.
The blazer featured in this post is from New Look and has a very clean and minimal design. As you can see it doesn’t really have a collar and has a very fitted, structured style. I thought this white blazer would be fantastic for the summer to throw over dresses, jeans and especially if you have a special occasion.
To get in the summer spirit, i picked up this Topshop Daisy High Neck Shell top. I couldn’t resist the purchase as i fell in love with the colours and print that has a very 60’s vibe. The Daisy High Neck top cost me £32.00 to buy, which is a pretty average price for Topshop’s blouse/dressy tops. I am literally in love with this top and is definitely going to be one of my summer wardrobe favourites.
I wanted to pick out the yellow tones within the top and feature this more within the look, so i accessorised the outfit with this yellow Primark clutch bag. At a steal for £6.00, i thought it was too cute not to get.
Keeping in with the 60’s theme, i teamed the top with one of my most favourite necklaces at the moment that i picked up in the New Look sale. It’s so simple and makes a plain top a bit more exciting.
My new blue Topshop Joni Jeans add a relaxed look to the outfit. I steered away from the black jeans and actually bought some blue denim jeans, but i am still unsure. I guess its always handy to have a blue denim pair of jeans that can be thrown on and go with most tops and shoes. I’m sure they will grow on me!
The photograph above show more details and the fit of the Topshop daisy high neck shell top. It is truly lovely and i’m sure it will be very popular!
To compliment the white blazer, i thought my gorgeous new embellished sandals from River Island would be perfect. A chunky block heel, leather and a bit of bling – what more could a girl want? Because of the chunky heel, they are really comfortable to wear and will be great for summer evenings and taking on holiday. At a price of £50, i do think they are worth every penny.
