I was super excited to finally go and do my Lush Christmas Haul of 2015! This blog post is all about the gorgeous ‘Santa’ themed items i picked up. I think they look so cute and you can use them altogether to create the perfect Christmassy bath!
As you can see, the products are just adorable. As well as them looking lovely, the scents and ingredients are amazing. All of these products have a very sweet, fruity fragrance – making them marry each other beautifully.
First of all, let’s talk about the ‘Peeping Santa’. It’s a new addition to the Lush Christmas range and I would say it’s one of the most festive looking products this year. It is a bubble bar, which has organic cocoa butter sandwiched in the middle with dairy-free chocolate eyes that melt away into your bath. Because of the cocoa butter in the bubble bar, it makes the water super-soft and your skin will be incredibly moisturised after use.
The Peeping Santa offers a rich sweet, strawberry scent and is packed with bergamot and geranium oils. It obviously is not the most festive fragrance, but it is truly lovely if you are a fan or fruity bath products. Simply crumble under running water for a delicious, bubble filled fruity bath experience.
The second santa of the trio is the ‘Dashing Santa’ bath bomb. It may look like a little bath bomb, but sure does make a big impact when sizzling away in the bath. When ‘Dashing Santa’ hits the water, it takes it’s time by filling the bath with white and red foam.
It has a very citrus scent to it as it is packed with bergamot and orange oils, as well as orange absolute. On the Lush label, it is described as “Citrus essential oils in this satsuma-scented bath bomb to put a spring in your step. Drop into the bath and watch Santa dash across he water”. Overall this bath bomb has a gorgeous uplifting fragrance and makes the water a vibrant festive red, but the scent quickly dispersed.
The Santa’s Belly Shower Jelly is one of my favourite products in the Lush Christmas 2015 range. It can be used in the shower or the bath and lathers up extremely well, especially when crushed into a shower pouf. I think an easy way to use the shower jelly products is to slice the jelly into smaller pieces for one-time use.
The shower jelly has a strong, fresh scent of apple juice. I think it also has a warming fragrance as it does include a star anise infusion. It’s very festive, uplifting and cleansing and is sure to put you in a good mood after your morning shower.
Another great thing about the Santa’s Belly Shower Jelly is the deep red appearance really does suit the scent and christmas vibe. I love how there is little gold stars inside the jelly; adding a special touch.
I’m super happy with these Lush products and i couldn’t recommend enough trying a couple of them together as they do work beautifully teamed up. I love feeling festive and when using Lush Christmas products, it really puts me in a happy and upbeat mood, ready for the festivities ahead.
I do have a gorgeous set from the Lush Christmas range to feature on my blog, so that will be coming soon! I also need to do a little shoutout to my lovely boyfriend, James for buying me these amazing Lush products – thank you very much!
I hope you have enjoyed my little ‘Santa Trio’ theme and would love to know if you have tried any of these products?
