Last weekend, myself and my boyfriend took a little trip to London – I thought why not have a change of scenery from Birmingham. We took advantage of the London Midland great escape train tickets and arrived at London Euston around 10.45am so we could make the most of the day.
I took my Canon 7D with me to capture some snaps of things that caught my eye walking around London and also for my boyfriend to photograph an outfit look for my blog (coming soon).
As you can see above i couldn’t help but drool over the amazing cakes in the cafe windows. I’m pretty pleased with my photographs as i love the effect of shooting through glass windows; it looks dreamy and the reflections give more depth. I’m not usually a street photography sort of person, but i thought i would change it up and go out of my comfort zone and capture some London Street Photography in my own style.
Our first destination was Covent Garden which i love and had to grab a box of Laduree Macarons – yum. We then walked our way through Regent Street to Oxford Circus for some retail therapy. After hitting the shops, we jumped on the tube to West Minster to be touristy and take a look at Big Ben and the London Eye (oh and get noodles too of course).
Overall we had a fantastic day out and it was fun to photograph subjects that caught my eye while wondering the streets of London.
Until next time,
