It’s that time again where my Glossybox has landed at my doorstep! I love taking photographs and giving my thoughts on my monthly beauty box subscription – so here it is! The Glossybox November 2015 edition features lots of gorgeous make-up that will sure add glamour to amp up your winter looks.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
I have never tried a Revlon lipstick before, so i am excited to try this out. To be honest, i am a bit of a snob when it comes to lipstick and tend to go for the higher end brands, but this gives me a chance to try a drugstore lip product. A few weeks before the box was due to arrive, i got an email from Glossybox saying we was able to choose our lipstick colour! I went for a soft pink colour which is called ‘Pink In The Afternoon’ as this would be a great colour for everyday use and i knew it would suit my skin tone.
Emite Diamond Heart Primer
I love a good primer and trying out various ones to achieve the perfect make-up look. This primer from Emite provides a great base with it’s lightweight formula. It also claims to balance your skin tone, boost radiance and create a smooth finish to prep your skin for the day (or night) ahead.
Eylure Natural Lashes
I was so happy to see eye lashes in this month’s edition. I don’t normally wear falsies, but I am really excited to try these natural ones for a more subtle look. I’m sure you will be able to get about 2-3 wears out for these too! They cost £5.00 from your local drugstore and look like they would be light and comfortable to wear.
MUA Eyeshadow Palette
I have heard and read many good things about the MUA eyeshadow palettes. They are at a low price point, have a great colour selection and strong pigmentation to create that bold eye look this season. I believe you will be able to achieve endless amounts of looks using the ‘Undressed Palette’ as it contains a great mixture of shimmery and matte textures in beige, brown and grey hues. I will see how this compares to my Naked 3 Palette also.
Royal Apothic Cream Crème
Lastly in this month’s box is a travel size of the Royal Apothic Cream Crème. Personally I have never heard of this brand before and think the packaging is really cute and glam. This product does not really suite the make-up themed box, but I can see it being handy to pamper my skin in the winter months.
I’m in total love with the November Glossybox 2015 edition. If you are a make-up fan like me, you will really enjoy using these products. The box will allow you to create a subtle daytime look, but also lead you into the night with the lashes and deeper hues in the MUA eye palette. My favourite items have to be the false eyelashes followed by the lipstick, just because i loved how the subscribers got the choice to pick their own shade.
