Hello Glossybox May 2015, you are definitely my most favourite yet! This month’s issue of Glossybox was my third box and i was so chuffed with the contents! The theme of the box was all about ‘Summer’s Calling’ and it really does contain beautiful products that will be handy for the summer months ahead.
Glossybox always comes well presented and i love the little added touches like the ribbon, tissue paper and message cards full of information. I see it like a little present to yourself every month – everyone deserves a treat!
SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate (30ml)
Full size: £12 for 100ml, sample worth £3.60.
Before seeing this product, i never heard of anything like it before. The serum is designed to prevent ingrown hairs post bikini waxing or shaving. There is no scent which is great for your intimate areas, especially if you have sensitive skin. I haven’t tried the product yet so i can’t say if it actually works or what it is like to use, but i can’t wait to give it a try! I think this will be perfect for prepping your bikini area for holiday and even great to take with you.
Etre Belle Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel (40ml)
Full size: £15.93
I was so happy to see an Aloe Vera Moisturising as i have been meaning to pick one up! This is a very small amount of a full size product and is a little pricey too. I used this on the dry areas of my face where my skin tends to get a little flakey and it was extremely moisturising. A little goes a long way with this product and soothed my skin. Another good way to use this product is if you have your eyebrows threaded/waxed often, they can become a little dry and this soothes and takes away the redness when you have had them first done.
MeMeMe Enchanted Eyes Dual Ended Wand
Full size: £6.95
This product was a little spoiler on Glossybox’s website and social media, so all of the subscribers knew it was coming. It is an eyeshadow and eyeliner stick in shade ‘Midnight Shadow’ which includes two blue tones. The texture of the eye product is very creamy and would easily blend, but i’m not one to be adventurous with bright eye make-up. Maybe i will have to have a little play around with this and maybe watch a few Youtube videos for inspiration!
Collection Field Day Lipstick
Full size: £2.99
This is a lovely matte lipstick in the shade ‘Tulip’ by Collection. It is a super pretty peachy coral shade and is going to be beautiful for summer for that pop of colour. If you have dry lips, this lipstick isn’t very forgiving and will highlight the lines and dry patches, but you can’t really expect too much for £2.99. When you are wearing matte lipsticks, i always find it is best to prep your lips before by using a lip exfoliating scrub and even putting on a hydrating lip blam/treatment before you go to bed.
Zerreau Towell Off Shampoo Foam (70ml)
Full size: £7.95
I saved my most favourite product of the whole box till last. The Zerreau Towell Off Shampoo Foam has a lovely fruity fragrance and is cruelty free and contains no alcohol. I simply applied this foam to my roots and massaged in for a few seconds, then towel dried my hair. The shampoo foam left my hair feeling really fresh and clean looking. If you are not a fan of the talc texture of the spray in dry shampoo’s, then this could be one for you to try.
This is my best Glossybox since starting to have my subscriptions 3 months ago and i was pleased i didn’t receive another nail varnish that i wouldn’t use. The products in this box was a lovely mix of beauty and make-up that are perfect for summer and even taking on holiday.
