This June’s Glossy box had an early arrival and the theme of the box was ‘The Festival Edit’. With the festival season, you want to have products that fuss free, luggage light, but still make you look and feel great. I feel within the June Glossy box edition, it features some lovely products that are perfect for the festival season and also could be great to carry around on holiday in your beach bag.
If you have never heard of Glossy box, it is a monthly beauty subscription service. The box includes a mixture of 5 beauty products from well known brands to new brands. Each element of the box has been carefully considered for you and is always at a high standard when it comes to presentation. Lets see what was in this month’s box…
Monu Spa Rosewood Reviving Mist
In a travel size that is perfect for popping in your handbag, the Monu Spa Rosewood Reviving Mist is great to freshen up your face, especially on warmer days. When you spray this on your face, it provides a cool and light mist that refreshes the skin. As well as using on the face, the mist can be used all over the body and even to set your make-up. The Monu Spa Rosewood Reviving Mist contains Lemon, Rosewood, Sandalwood, Petitgrain, Geranium, Clove and Clary Sage; making it smell beautiful. I know this product is going to be great to take on holiday so that i can freshen my face by the poolside!
Halo Fragrance Free Facial Wipes
Another handy product that Glossy box has given to us in a travel size. I’m guessing the idea of having these wipes in the festival themed box is to use it to freshen up and remove any make-up with ease when in the middle of a field. Even if your not a festival person, these will be great to keep in your handbag for summer holidays. The Fragrance Free Facial Wipes have been formulated to remove all make-up, even water proof mascara and contain Vitamin E and Aloe Vera to keep the skin moisturised.
Kueshi Anticellulite Booster
The most expensive item in this month’s glossy box is the Kueshi Anticellulite Booster. I’m not completely sold on this ‘Anticellulite’ product as i’m not too sure if it would give any results. It is a light weight cream is suppose to stimulate blood circulation and tones the skin to banish any dimples. I have applied this a couple of times, but haven’t used it enough to say that anything changes!
Essence Gel Nail Polish
I’m a big fan of these Gel Nail effect polishes, but haven’t tried out applying this nail varnish yet. It’s a gorgeous vibrant pink colour that is great for summer and is at a reasonable retail price of £1.71. I’m looking forward to seeing how this gel nail colour compares to other brands i have used and also see how long it lasts without chipping.
Glossybox Flash Tattoos
These metallic tattoos are really on trend right now and are a favourite accessory almost bloggers, celebrities and stylists, but I’m a little unsure if i like them. I guess they would look cool and suit going to a festival adding extra detailing to your look.
My verdict for the Glossybox June 2015 edition is that it had some great pieces that can be used to freshen up while at a festival or on holiday, but a couple of products let the box down a little. Although i did enjoy discovering some lovely products i had never heard of before, such as the mist spray and the gel nail polish. Maybe i will have to keep using the Kueshi Anticellulite Booster to see if any changes in my skin appear.
