My eyes light up when I see my Glossybox package every month! I just love opening the beauty box to see the contents inside and also I find them a joy to photograph. There is sure to be something everyone would like in this month’s box.
The Glossybox August 2015 edition contains five products; a skincare product, a body product, two full-sized make-up items and one sample sized make-up item.
Lets start with the Emite Artist Colour Powder Blush. The shade I received was 108 and to me it looked quite dark and almost like a bronzer. I think this blush would be more suitable for darker skin tones or could be used to contour the cheekbones for people with fairer skin. I had never heard of this brand before, but I must say the blush is very pigmented and a lot goes a long way!
Next is the Naobay Calming Face Toner. The packaging is gorgeous and instantly caught my attention; it’s simple, minimal and I love the contrasting wood lid and white bottle. Naobay has featured in a previous Glossybox because I remembered the packaging! To be honest, im not really someone who uses toner religiously and can see myself only using this product a couple of times and then forgetting about it.
The Manna Kadar Lash Primer is a really cool product which is designed to condition and treat your eye lashes. It’s great because you can simply pop it on before applying your mascara and can easily make this a part of your eye make-up routine! You can also apply after removing your make-up to let your lashes be treated while you sleep. I haven’t used the product long enough to see if it makes my lashes fuller, but it feels nice going on!
Another brand to return to this month’s Glossybox is Sass. A Purifying Cleanser that is for your intimate area. Sass are a range of products designed for intimate maintenance and I must say I will give this a go at some point.
Lastly is the MeMeMe Lipglide in shade ‘Playful Peach’. It is a creamy matte pencil that is very pigmented and glides on with ease – even if you have dry lips. I am not a big fan of the shade as it is quite bright, so I would invest in a more nude or berry shade for the autumn/winter months ahead.
Overall a great box that includes some beautiful products I am happy to have. The value of the box is outstanding and has a lovely mixture of make-up, beauty and body items. For more information on getting next month’s Glossybox, take a look at the there website – click here.
